Nalanie was born in 1954 into a distinguished , leading family in Hong Kong, the Harilelas. Nurtured by very spiritual Hindu parents and educated at a Catholic Convent school, she grew up in the presence of a close family friend, who unbeknown at the time, was to have a deep and lasting influence in her life. This frequent visitor and friend was Sri Swami Satchidananda, her Beloved Gurudev.
She attended university in the United States where she read, Philosophy, Psychology and Fine Arts. In 1975 she moved to Gibraltar with her husband Shanky, where, for many years, they ran a very successful fashion business. Nalanie continued her study of Philosophy and Psychology while running a very popular dance school and raising their two children Shani and Shaman.

Shanti is a certified Integral Yoga teacher. She has been trained to teach Hatha Yoga at levels I and II and Raja Yoga. Her teacher Nalanie Chellaram, is a student and disciple of Sri Swami Satchidananda. She is also a certified Cardiac Yoga Teacher, having studied under Dr Mala Cunningham, Ph.D. Shanti has the great privilege of traveling all over the world with Nalanie Chellaram, serving wherever is needed.
Born in London, moved to Portugal as a young child. Following her studies moved to London where she worked at Gucci for 3 years as PA to the manager. She returned to Portugal to follow her love of Yoga, In 2002 became a Certified Integral Yoga teacher. Now teaching regularly, specializing in therapeutic yoga and for children with special needs.
She is dedicated and enthusiastic member of SIS, serving in Portugal & Internationally.
Rev. Prem Anjali, Ph.D., is an Integral Yoga minister and served as Sri Swami Satchidananda's personal assistant for 24 years. She gratefully continues to serve her Guru as a member of SIS, editor of Integral Yoga Magazine and as co-founder of Integral Yoga Communications and Media. She also serves on the Integral Yoga Publications Board, has produced the film, “Living Yoga: The life and teachings of Swami Satchidananda” and is a senior archivist for Integral Yoga Archives.
Hersha Chellaram has studied yoga under the loving guidance of Sri Swami Satchidananda since she was a child, and has taught yoga in New York, India, Hong Kong and Spain. She is certified in Integral Yoga’s Basic and Intermediate Hatha, Raja Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Cardiac Yoga, and offers a program called Corporate Karma.
She has volunteered for a number of charities with communications, public relations, fundraising and website support.

Swami Lalitananda trained for 28 years under Sri Gurudev and lived in His Ashrams and IYIs for 20 years.
Currently based in Coimbatore
serving the community at large, receiving several requests to speak and teach at various schools and colleges and addressing local clubs and service organizations.
Swami Lalitananda became the Coimbatore representative of SIS, with her focus being distributing financial assistance to students who might otherwise not be able to continue their education and graduate
Senthil was born in Kandy in 1961. Both his devotees of Gurudev. P. Shanmugan being trustee grew up spending many weekends in Kandy Thapovanam (Swami Satchidanda's first Ashram).

Senthi is team member on the Thiruvalluvar Tamil High School & the Satchidananda Thamovanam in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Born in Brussels, Belgium, now living in Spain. Marina has 2 successful fashion boutiques “Pret a porter”for woman and
men that she opened with her husband. In 2005 became a Hatha Integral Yoga teacher, and after that a Raja Yoga teacher. Following on that path, wanting to help others less fortunate in Nepal.
Marina founded Vida Util, a Spanish based non governmental organization that provides education sponsorships and medical resources to people in Nepal who otherwise would not have access to such support.
Was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Moved to Portugal in 1968, where she worked in various educational and commercial enterprises, eventually setting up her own businesses.
Since1993, she has dedicated her life to organizing lectures on self improvement and integrated medicine, combined with fund raising for various charities, for the last years in the name of SIS. She has been a student of Nalanies Chellaram's since
2002 along with organising her yearly lectures and courses around the Lisbon area, and runs a weekly study-meditation group - a Sangha - in Estoril, based on the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda.

Born in UK, Janaki became an Integral Yoga teacher in 2003.
She shares Hatha classes with diverse members in her local community including the MS centre, children in schools, special needs, pregnant women and babies.
All the classes that Janaki teaches, the money goes towards supporting local and international projects.
Nalanie Chellaram continues to be a radiant guiding light and she has given the opportunity to support within SIS globally
She is a continous support to all of SIS projects, serving where ever needed.

Born in England in 1953, Les began career in 1975 and qualified as a Company Secretary in 1980. He worked as an accountant in London and the Midlands before moving to Gibraltar in 1990 to head up the Company Management Department of the local office of Ernst & Young.
Les established own business providing corporate and business advisory services in 2002 and in 2004 he fulfilled a life-long ambition to help underprivileged children in developing countries when he co-founded “The Association for Kids In Need (AKIN)”.
In 2006 he was instrumental in establishing “Childline Gibraltar”.
