The SIS Art & Music Fundraising Festival was held in Estepona, Spain on the 30th July 2010.

It was a beautiful setting with the lovely garden at Finca Tierra Sana filled with stalls selling a variety of interesting things such as arts & crafts, Asian clothes, oil paintings and an assortment of jewellery. There were also food stalls serving delicious falafel and other vegetarian dishes as well as bbq food, cakes and organic smoothies..

 Between 20:00 and 01:00 am, over 200 people were kept entertained with great live music performances by The Valerga Brothers, John Kelman and Alicia Kern, and a spectacular belly dancing show by Sylvia Shazadi & Ad-Dunia, and the young Dazzle girls. Raffle tickets were also drawn for 20 lucky winners of prizes such as a stay at a hotel suite in Gaucin.

Thanks to everyone’s help we managed to raise over 2,000 €,  half of which will be donated to Little Miracles for children with special needs on costs of equipment they require. The other half has already been donated to Fundación Bastiano Berguese, an organization in Marbella which serves terminally ill cancer patients who can’t afford medication and specialist equipment to make their journey a bit more comfortable.

We hope to be able to make this an annual event!
