AASHA KO KIRAN SCHOOL - NEPAL

Satya, SIS team member is raising funds to finance the creation of a much-needed school and nursery for a number of orphans in Gambia, under the project Save the Gambian Orphans 

 
 
 

C.A.S.A. Support Centre for underprivileged & homeless - Portugal
        
C.A.S.A. is located in the Algarve, Portugal. SIS team member Luckshmi based in the Algarve is supporting this project through donating monies raised through her weekly yoga class on a Tuesday evening, individual donations and students volunteering their time. Click here to read more.

HOGAR BETANIA - SPAIN

A residential shelter for homeless adults and their babies and children, of Caritas of La Linea de La Concepcion, asks for your urgent collaboration as it is at risk of imminent closure. Funds run out at the end of November 2012. Since 2010, 528 homeless adults and their babies and children have taken refuge here. Read more...

THE SPECIAL YOGA CENTRE - London

The primary goal of the centre is to provide therapeutic support to babies, children, young people and adults with special needs, through the practice of yoga, with the intention of helping them to reach their full potential. Our yoga therapy services include outreach work in schools, group classes, parent support groups and one- to-ones sessions. The foundation block of the centre’s philosophy is one of inclusion. We offer a nurturing, respectful, calm and welcoming environment where all members of the community can come together regardless of age, ability, religion, ethnicity or economic status and share the many benefits of yoga.
